Description
Chuanwei Group Waste Gas-Based Captive Power Plant The Chuanwei Group Waste Gas-Based Captive Power Plant is located in Lianjie Town, Weiyuan County, Neijiang City of Sichuan Province, P.R.China. This project involves the installation of two sets of 12 MW condensing turbine generators. The primary objective of the project is to generate electricity by utilizing waste gas produced by Chuanwei Group that would otherwise be flared. By doing so, the project aims to displace a portion of electricity supplied by fossil fuel-fired power plants of the Central China Grid. Key Highlights: - Generates electricity by utilizing waste gas produced by Chuanwei Group - Displaces a portion of electricity supplied by fossil fuel-fired power plants - Contributes to sustainable development by reducing greenhouse gas emissions - Accelerates the development of energy-saving technologies - Creates local job opportunities The Chuanwei Group Waste Gas-Based Captive Power Plant not only provides carbon-free electricity by utilizing combustible waste gas, but also contributes to sustainable development of the local community, host country, and the world by reducing greenhouse gas emissions compared to a business-as-usual scenario. Additionally, this project accelerates the development of energy-saving technologies and creates local job opportunities.
