Clean Energy Project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan In 2018, a public comment was invited for a clean energy project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, which received no comments. The project involves the installation of 16 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) in Jaisalmer, each with an installed capacity of 1.25 MW. The total installed capacity of the project is 20 MW, generating electricity from wind power. Key Highlights: - 16 Wind Turbine Generators installed in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan - Each WTG has an installed capacity of 1.25 MW - Total installed capacity of the project is 20 MW - Project proponent signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with “Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited” (JVVNL) to export the electricity to the local grid This project aims to produce power from a clean energy source and reduce the dependence on fossil fuels for energy requirements. By exporting electricity to the local grid, the project will contribute to the sustainability of the region and reduce carbon emissions. The use of wind power as a renewable energy source is an important step towards a cleaner and greener future.
