Description
Sukhbir Agro Energy Ltd and Sri Ram Solvex have come together to create a bundled biomass based heat generation project that utilizes rice husk as fuel. SAEL is a well-known rice producer in the Ghazipur region of Uttar Pradesh, while Sri Ram Solvex is a rice bran oil manufacturing company located in Ferozepur, Punjab. This project involves the installation of one rice husk fired boiler each from SAEL and SRS, with capacities of 10 TPH and 3 TPH respectively. Key Highlights: - SAEL's rice mill has a capacity of 50 TPH of paddy processing, while SRS's unit has a capacity of 100 TPD of rice bran processing. Both require steam to meet their captive heat demand. - The annual estimated rice husk requirement of the boilers is 17068.78 tons for SAEL and 4874.42 tons for SRS. - This project helps to reduce the carbon footprint by utilizing a renewable resource as fuel, thus decreasing the emission of greenhouse gases. - The use of rice husk as fuel also reduces the pressure on landfills and waste management systems, as rice husk is a byproduct that would otherwise be discarded. - The project creates employment opportunities in the installation and maintenance of the boilers, as well as in the collection and transportation of rice husk. This project is important because it not only reduces carbon emissions but also creates a sustainable solution to waste management and provides economic benefits to the local communities. By utilizing rice husk, a byproduct that would otherwise be discarded, the project helps to reduce the pressure on landfills and waste management systems. In addition, the project creates employment opportunities and promotes the use of renewable energy sources. Overall, this project is a positive step towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
