Description
Yihai Kerry (Jilin) Bio-cogeneration Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wilmar International Ltd., operates a green-field rice husk based thermal energy generation system to produce steam. The project uses rice husks purchased from Yihai Kerry (Jilin) Oils, Grains and Foodstuffs Industries Co., Ltd, which is also the consumer of steam. This project does not allow for any other co-firing. The system includes two boilers with a capacity of 15 MT/hour each. Key Highlights: - Generates thermal energy using a green-field rice husk based system - Rice husks are purchased from Yihai Kerry (Jilin) Oils, Grains and Foodstuffs Industries Co., Ltd - The project comprises two 15 MT/hour boilers This project is important because it provides a renewable source of thermal energy and reduces carbon emissions.
