Description
Sitarganj Biomass and Biogas Boiler Project The Sitarganj Biomass and Biogas Boiler Project is located in the ELDECO SIDCUL industrial park in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand state, India. The nearest railhead is Kathgodam, which is 37km from the project site, and the Pantnagar airport is 50km away. The project's main goal is to install a 30TPH biomass-based boiler in the starch manufacturing unit, which will use biogas produced from anaerobic digestion of wastewater within the plant premises as fuel. Key Highlights: - The installation of the 30TPH biomass-based boiler will generate 30TPH of steam for process heating. - The project activity utilizes biogas produced from wastewater for fuel, reducing the need for non-renewable energy sources. - The project contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as the use of biomass and biogas reduces the amount of fossil fuels needed for energy. The Sitarganj Biomass and Biogas Boiler Project is an important initiative as it not only reduces the reliance on non-renewable energy sources but also contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The use of biomass and biogas as fuel for the boiler reduces the need for fossil fuels, which in turn reduces the carbon footprint of the starch manufacturing process. Overall, this project is a step towards a more sustainable future for the industry.
