Description
Hebei Guyuan County Dongxinying 199.5 MW Wind Power Project (hereinafter referred to as the proposed project) is a promising wind power project developed by Hebei Construction Investment New Energy Co., Ltd. and located at the south of Guyuan County, Hebei Province, P.R.China. The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated from the high-growth, coal-dominated power generation in North China Power Grid (hereinafter referred to as NCPG). Key Highlights: - The project is equipped with 95 sets of 2.1 MW wind turbines, generating a total capacity of 199.5 MW, which can produce about 524.42 million kWh of electricity annually. - The proposed project is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 464,000 tons of CO2 per year, which is equivalent to planting 154,000 acres of forest per year. - The project's high-quality wind resources and advanced wind power generation technology make it an effective way to reduce GHG emissions and promote sustainable development. The proposed project will play an essential role in China's efforts to reduce GHG emissions and fight climate change. By generating clean electricity, it will displace the electricity from coal-fired power plants in NCPG and contribute to reducing the country's carbon footprint. Additionally, the project will support the local economy by creating job opportunities and promoting renewable energy development.
