説明
The Nanhai MSW Incineration II Project, located in Shougouling, Shishan Forestry Centre, Shishan Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, P.R. China, is a state-of-the-art waste management project that sets an example for sustainable development. Here are the key highlights of the project: Key Highlights: - The project features three 500t/d MSW combustion production lines that can treat 1,500 tons of MSW per day. - The combustion system comprises three 500t/d mechanical grate incinerators, matched with two sets of 15MW steam turbine and two sets of 20MW generators. - By incinerating MSW that would otherwise be dumped in landfills, the project prevents the emission of methane that would be generated under landfill condition. - The waste heat from the combustion of MSW can be used to produce steam to generate power, which replaces the electricity that would otherwise be generated by fossil-fuel fired power plants connected to South China Power Grid (SCPG). - The project also creates job opportunities for local residents and promotes the use of clean and renewable energy. By implementing the Nanhai MSW Incineration II Project, the local government of Guangdong Province is taking a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable development. The project helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by replacing fossil fuel-based electricity generation with renewable energy and also provides an effective solution for the treatment of MSW. The project is a win-win for both the environment and the local community.
