The Buriram Rubber Plantation Carbon Sequestration Project supports 131 smallholder plantations in Buriram Province, Thailand, covering nearly 2,000 rai (≈309 hectares). By eliminating burning, reducing chemical inputs, and introducing agroforestry, the project improves soil health, biodiversity, and farmer livelihoods. Digital monitoring via blockchain and satellite imagery ensures transparency, while carbon revenues are shared with farmers. It mitigates about 8,579 tCO₂e per year, totaling over 60,000 tCO₂e across its 7-year crediting period.
