CARBOREA-TCR

Restore Salento. Remove Carbon. Empower Local Farmers. Developed by OLIVAMI ETS, this high-impact agroforestry project transforms land devastated by Xylella fastidiosa into thriving, climate-resilient olive groves. By purchasing these credits, companies support verified carbon removals while helping regenerate Southern Italy’s landscape, revive its olive-growing heritage and create long-term value for local farmers. Following the successful restoration of 317 hectares, the project is ready to scale through a pipeline of 8,000–10,000 hectares. Carbon removals are quantified in accordance with ISO 14064-2 and IPCC methodologies, with a 20-year permanence commitment and a 10% buffer reserve.
