This project is a greenfield activity where grid power is the baseline. The Indian grid system has been predominantly dependent on fossil fuel-powered plants. Renewable power generation is gradually contributing to the share of clean & and green power in the grid. As per the ex-ante estimate, this project will generate approximately 27,404 MWh of electricity per annum considering an average PLF of 20%.
