Luofan 24MW Hydropower Project is an exciting initiative that aims to reduce carbon emissions by generating renewable energy in Yanjia Town, Ceheng County, Guizhou Province, China. The project has a total installed capacity of 24MW and can generate 86,420 MWh of electricity annually, which is enough to supply 85,988 MWh of clean energy to the China Southern Power Grid (CSPG) every year. Key Highlights: - The project operates for 3,601 hours every year, reducing CO2 emissions by replacing fossil fuel-fired power plants connected into CSPG. - The clean energy generated by the project displaces a part of the power from fossil fuel-fired power plants of CSPG. - The project has zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions during its operation. - The expected annual GHG emission reductions are 56,472tCO2e.
