Description

MEIL 42MW Wind Power Project in Rajasthan, India MEIL has established a 42MW wind power project in Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan, India. This project comprises of 20 Wind Electric Generators (WEGs), with each generator having a capacity of 2.1 MW. The wind power project is located in Tejwa-Mokal village, Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan State. Key Highlights: - The project generates power using zero-emissions wind-based technology, which eliminates the need for fossil fuel usage and minimizes emissions. - The wind electric generators (WEGs) used in this project are Suzlon S88 models supplied by Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL), a subsidiary of the Suzlon group. - The WEGs are designed with advanced technical features that align with current good practices in wind-based power generation. This wind power project is a significant step towards achieving sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. It is a prime example of how renewable energy technology can be used to generate clean energy in an environmentally conscious way. By reducing the carbon footprint, this project contributes towards mitigating climate change and promoting sustainable development.
