Description
Generating Renewable Energy through Wind Power Project This project aims to generate power through a renewable energy source, specifically wind, and distribute it to the state grid. Known as Project Sky, the project activity utilizes Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) manufactured by General Electric (GE). The WTGs convert wind potential into kinetic energy, which drives the alternators to generate energy. The generated electricity is then exported to the regional grid system under the purview of the NEWNE grid of India. Key Highlights: - The proposed wind power project has a capacity of 100.8 MW, generating clean and sustainable energy. - The Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) used in the project are manufactured by General Electric (GE), a leading company in renewable energy technology. - The project is implemented in different phases, with 72 MW (45 WTGs) currently in operation. - By utilizing wind potential, the project reduces carbon emissions and helps combat climate change. - The project also contributes to the growth of renewable energy in India, supporting the country's goal to achieve 40% of its energy from non-fossil fuel sources by 2030. This project is a significant step towards generating clean and sustainable energy through renewable sources. By implementing this project, carbon emissions are reduced, and the country is one step closer to achieving its goal of sourcing 40% of its energy from non-fossil fuel sources by 2030. Furthermore, it supports the growth of the renewable energy sector in India, creating a greener future for the country.
