Description
This carbon project is focused on utilizing wind energy to generate electricity in Anantapuram District, Andhra Pradesh. The project consists of 50 Wind Electric Generators (WEG) of Gamesa Wind Turbines Private Limited make. Guttaseema Wind Energy Company Private Limited (GWECPL) has set up 40 machines of 2MW capacity while the other 10 machines of 2MW have been established by Vayuputhra Energy Private Limited (VEPL). The generated electricity is evacuated to the Grid through the locally available grid substations facility in the district.
