Song Ong Hydropower Project
Description
The Song Ong Hydropower Project is a renewable energy initiative that generates 8.1 MW of power and provides 40,500 MWh of clean electricity annually to the national grid in Vietnam. The project includes the construction of a dam, intake, tunnels, penstock, pressurized well, powerhouse, and discharge channel to convert flowing energy into electricity. Through a Power Purchase Agreement with the Electricity Corporation of Vietnam, the project supplies net electricity via a 22 kV transmission line to the Ninh Son 110/22 kV transformer station.
