Description
The Natural Palm Oil (Chumporn) Co., Ltd. (NPO) has implemented a project to reduce methane emissions from their palm oil factory, which has a capacity of 45-60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. Prior to the project, the wastewater from the plant was treated through a system of 8 cascading lagoons, resulting in methane generation. The project has successfully reduced methane emissions by implementing a new wastewater treatment system.
