The purpose of the project activity is the installation of a 60 MW solar photovoltaic power plant for clean electricity generation from Solar Energy. The project activity replaces anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) into the atmosphere, which is estimated to be approximately 99,453 tCO2e annually, by displacing the equivalent amount of electricity generation through the operation of the existing fuel mix in the grid comprising mainly fossil fuel-based power plants.
