描述

AD Hydro Power Ltd. proposes the Allain Duhangan Hydroelectric Project (ADHP), a run-of-the-river hydro power project located at the confluence of Allain and Duhangan rivulets at Pirni village in Manali town, Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The project is designed to generate 192 MW of electricity using a high head underground power plant that harnesses hydro power from a combination of glacial snow melt and monsoon rains in these two rivulets. Key Highlights: - The ADHP is a new hydroelectric project with a reservoir that currently has a power density of 6508.4746 W/ m2. - Construction work at the project site has already commenced and the project activity started generating power in June 2008. - The project is expected to generate 678.18 GWh of energy per year in 90% dependable years. - The project activity has a power density factor of 6508 W/M2. - The project passed the public comment period from 21 November – 21 December 2019 without receiving any feedback. The ADHP is an important project as it will provide a renewable source of energy to the local area and reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources. The project will also contribute to the economic development of the region by creating jobs and providing electricity to homes and businesses. Additionally, the project will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change.
